Education, training and networking. Culture and market were integrated in one single event full of incentives and opportunities for congressmen, exhibitors and general audience during three days at ForumClub - ForumPiscine, in its GALLERY version this year.
The 8th edition of ForumClub gathered together professionals, technicians, trade operators, owners and managers of fitness and wellness clubs along a compulsory path between the former Gallery of Modern Art and the Congress Centre of Bologna.
Expo, sold out
Exhibiting companies occupied all the space available, offering to the over 6,000 visitors a wide range of products and services that could be compared to bigger trade shows. Positive trends in terms of foreign companies, too: +15% exhibitors were from European and non-Euopean countries, i.e. Austria, Belgium, China, Germany, Slovenia, Spain, USA, Switzerland etc. An event that becomes every year more and more international.
Highly appreciated conferences and new targets
Among the positive initiatives of the 2016 edition, there was the rich program of conferences organized by trade associations and partner federations, which have attracted a large and qualified audience.
Among the most attended sessions, the congresses organized by historic partners like European Aquatic Association, Acquanetwork and ANIF-Eurowellness, and the ones derived from the new relationships started for this edition with Italian Permanent Parks and Federterme (Italian Federation of thermal centres), which resulted in the target expansion towards thermal centres and water parks.
There's more. Workshops and meetings organized by FIN (Italian Swimming Association), Assopiscine (Italian Association for pool contructors), UISP and PoliDesign - Consortium of the Politecnico of Milan - and the collaboration with professional bodies of Architects and Designers in the cities of Bologna and Modena.
New initiatives: speed presentations, B2B meetings and focus on energy saving
The Partner Exhibitors played a very important role at the ForumPiscine Gallery as key players of the event in terms of new technologies and products on the market.
During the three days, over 60 speed presentations were delivered by exhibitors about the hottest topics for trade operators, ranging from wellness to boutique fitness, from lighting systems to new water activites up to energy saving.
Another new feature of the 2016 edition was the agenda of b2b meetings between buyers and exhibitors, organized to match supply and demand and help visitors to organize the days at the show.
